Job Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc) taking into account the company's goals and financial standing
• Prepare and update monthly expense analysis by vendor
• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis
• Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
• Backlog reporting
• Employee time utilization analysis
• Quarterly incentive analysis
• Preparing weekly revenue analysis report to determine estimated quarterly/annual revenue targets and gaps
• Day-to-day management which will include:
• Procurement (PO) - Create purchase requisitions in support of subcontractor and procurement activities when needed
• Accounts Payable (AP) - reviewing and collaborating with accounting team to ensure invoices are accurately entered and paid
• Contract budgeting and planning
• Updating forecasts for payroll changes
• Update Management reports
• Create and maintain financial reports including financial dashboards and KPIs
• Analyze plan versus actual data and their associated variances.
• Ability to pull and manipulate data for ad-hoc reporting request

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a finance analyst
• Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Business, Economics or Finance
• Ability to operate with limited oversight
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously if necessary
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Proficient at forecasting and managing project spend
