In a constantly evolving world like that of freelancers, Ominee, which is naturally attentive to the mutations of the job market in all its forms, has developed proposals that can satisfy the needs of entrepreneurs and those who work as freelancers and remote workers.
From the companies' perspective, there is a need to contain the cost of employed staff, which obviously does not exclusively refer to salaries but also includes structures and derived costs. For example, office costs, electronic equipment, energy consumption, consumables, insurance, and countless other expenses where significant economic resources are dispersed. Another critical factor for companies is the non-linearity of demand, which means having to manage peaks and troughs with a structure that, the more rigid it is, the more problems it generates.
From the worker's perspective, there is an increasing need to manage their work, not only in terms of time commitment (when/how much/how) and reconcile it with their private life but also in relation to the quality of their career path and related choices.
The new Ominee "Offered Services" module meets the needs of both the company and the worker. The module is built with criteria as simple as they are effective:
- The Freelancer proposes a "closed package" service, meaning that what they offer is a service defined in technical details, price, and execution times. The offer cannot be formulated with variable criteria (hourly or unit cost, without technical specifications, unspecified delivery times, etc.). To this end, we invite you to see here examples of correctly completed "Offered Services."
- The Client (Company or private) accepts one of the existing proposals or asks the chosen Freelancer to formulate one with specific instructions, and when this is formulated, they accept it.
- The Client, at the same time as accepting, deposits the amount due for the service in the Ominee clearing room (this way, the Freelancer is guaranteed payment upon delivery of the work, after positive verification by the Client).
- When the Client confirms the delivery of the work within the agreed terms and specifications, Ominee will remit the agreed amount to the Freelancer, deducting Ominee's fee.
- In case of non-compliance with the agreements by the Freelancer, the Client will be refunded by Ominee.
For any clarification on the functioning of the module, we invite you to read here.
Last but not least: ensuring the correctness of exchanges between the parties. The Company will be sure to receive the service with the agreed specifications, and the worker will be certain of correct payment. Ominee will act as a clearing room to ensure the proper functioning of the contract.
