The role involves transcribing recorded interviews with high accuracy and attention to detail. This is a remote, flexible opportunity for independent contractors.Responsibilities:Transcribe audio files (typically interviews) into clean, formatted transcripts using a provided templateMaintain99.9% accuracy and meet strict formatting requirementsAnnotate transcripts with contextual cues (e.g., [inaudible], [witness crying])Submit completed work via secure file transfer platformRespond to project communications and meet agreed-upon deadlinesRequirements:Must be a U.S. citizen (per federal requirements)Prior transcription experience (preferred: legal, medical, or government)Familiarity with transcription software and Microsoft WordStrong command of English grammar, spelling, and formattingAbility to follow confidentiality and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) protocolsAbility to pass a federal background check or already hold clearance (preferred but not required)Security Notice:This role supports a federal agency.
