Aurora Organic Dairy, a 2024 USA Top Workplace is growing, and we have an additional opening in our Quality Department.Schedule -Sun - Tuesday and alternating Wednesday's6pm - 6amPurpose:The Quality Assurance Lab Technician is responsible for in-process and finished product quality testing, maintaining accurate and complete records and alerting management to any potential quality issues.Essential Responsibilities:· All plant personnel have the responsibility to monitor and report any deviations from our Food Safety and Food Quality (HACCP & SQF) programs to your immediate supervisor.· Responsible for in-process and finished product quality microbiological and chemical testing.· Responsible for performing process control testing in a manufacturing environment.· Maintain accurate and complete laboratory testing result records.· Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices and Safety Procedures.· Communicate any potential quality issues to QA Management.Knowledge & Experience:· High School Diploma or equivalent.· Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Manufacturing, Food Science, Microbiology or related field preferred.· Experience in dairy laboratory testing procedures preferred.· Knowledge of laboratory testing methods.· Detail oriented and team member.· Strong, honest work ethic with ability to handle multiple tasks daily.· Good communication skills.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programSafety equipment providedTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:12 hour shiftNight shiftAbility to Relocate:Platteville, CO 80651: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
