We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our team at the Sebel Yarrawonga by overseeing the professional and cost effective running of the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are achieved for guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas within the hotel whilst maximising profit without compromising on the vision and (as a minimum) delivering work on-time and on-budget. The Sebel Yarrawonga Silverwoods is a Cox Architecture designed 4.5 star, 63-room apartment hotel located on the point and surrounded 270 degrees by the waters of Lake Mulwala, the Murray Rivers largest lake. The Hotel is a family owned, professionally managed, Sebel franchise. Currently employing over 100 staff in Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Front Office and Spa Departments. Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms.Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.Prepare and distribute assignment sheets/workboards to Housekeeping staff.
