Sample Custodians are responsible for notifying the Group Leader to receipt, volume, preservation, labeling, or other discrepancies that could affect the laboratory’s ability to meet the expectations of our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in working under possibly hazardous conditions (e.g. pathogens or chemicals). They will be well-trained to maintain safety conditions and will be passionate for doing work that makes things move forward.Our Denver, CO Laboratory is currently seeking a Full-Time Sample Receiving Technician to join our team.Schedule: Monday - Friday. Some Saturday work may be required.As a key member of the laboratory team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:Receives environmental samples into the laboratory according to Enthalpy’s SOPsPerforms data entry of sample and test information into Laboratory Information System (LIMS)Label sample containers, store them in appropriate locations and/or contact the proper department to inform them of short holding time and/or rush requests.Assists in sample bottle preparationAssists in sample management/archiving and disposalAssists in sample pickup or field sampling, if neededAssists in the coordination of daily field sampling/pickup schedule, if neededParticipates in focus teams to improve efficiencyComply with Enthalpy’s Quality Assurance ProgramComply with Enthalpy’s Health and Safety PlanOther duties as assignedYOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. HydrogeologistMontgomery & Associates, Inc. (M&A) is seeking a full-time early-career hydrogeologist to join our Tucson, Phoenix, or Reno offices. This hydrogeologist position includes a mix of field work and office work including processing and analyzing data, supporting groundwater modeling activities, preparing technical reports, supporting water well drilling and testing, and groundwater sampling. Range of duties will vary with experience and qualifications.
