The online diamond jewelry brand BAUNAT is a fast growing, disruptive & "digital native" company and always looking for experienced and skilled craftsmen to support their production of diamond jewellery.Job descriptionYou are expected to assemble and finish casted jewellery parts and meet the company's quality standards within the prescribed production timesYou are able to finish our jewelry with as illustrated on the website and instructed by the management using materials provided by BAUNATYou can follow written or oral instructions, verify accuracy of all work orders upon receipt and announce any discrepancies to management prior to the actual assembly / finishingYou can do both platinum and gold assemblies, edits and repairs on rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, brooches and other itemsYou master the ability to do adjustments without this being clearly visibleYou verify if the proper type of material is used, stones are of the minimum ordered quality and jewelry is delivered in the right sizeYou are able to deliver high quality work in a short time spanYou are responsible for the solidity of the jewel so that the quality can always be guaranteedYou treat jewels / diamonds with utmost care to prevent damage / breakageProfileProficient knowledge English or Dutch: speaking & readingLiving in the surroundings of AntwerpYou master the necessary skills for diamond jewellery making in platinum and goldYou are familiar with the handling of diamonds, precious stones, pearls, jewelleryAbility to work in a speedy work environmentAble to use a laser welder for assembly and repairMinimum experience of 5 year as a goldsmithExperience with or knowledge of hand work, laser engraving machine, polishing, rhodium plating, Rhino (or other cad program), diamond grading, gemmology is a plusIdeal personalityEye for detail and aim for perfectionFlexibleNo 9-to-5-mentalityDriven and dynamicHonest and reliableHigh sense of responsibilityProblem-solvingTeam playerWe offerA pleasant working environment in collaboration with a young, dynamic and motivated teamA clean and equipped office in our HQ in the Diamond QuarterEmployment type: Payroll or independentSalary: to be discussed
