    At Sunrise, our Dining Room Care Manager is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents in the community's dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living standards.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:
    - Serving as a role model in providing dining service to our residence
    - Assisting with training team members
    - Maintaining proper dining room set up
    - Assisting in special events
    - Monitoring appropriate checklists in support of the dining area cleanliness, readiness, standards

    Qualifications:

    Physical Requirements

    As a member of our Squad, you will be working in a kitchen environment, rotating between front and back of house.     The Hotel Operations Internship is a paid position and will last approximately 12 weeks. The program provides rotations in some of the following departments: Rooms, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources and Spa departments.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Rotate through the functional areas of the property to gain an understanding of how each department contributes to the success of the hotel.
    • Develop skills and leadership under the guidance of the General Manager and other departmental leader through hands-on work and shadowing.
    • Assist guests when needed.
    • Learn the operational workings of each department by observation of team members, participation in meetings, asking questions, and special departmental projects.
    • Provide input into the development and implementation of services and processes.
    • Comply with company policies and procedures of each department in a satisfactory manner.
    • Assist each department head with assigned operational functions and help with strategic plan for the department.
    • Completing tasks by utilizing and learning systems, tools, equipment, and software that apply.

    • Able to work a full 12 weeks without interruption.
    • Experience working in hospitality, food & beverage, hotel operations or related area is a plus.
