    Who are we?

    Responsible for coordinating Wedding Room Block components such as booking links, group rooming list, inputting list into PMS and setting all billing regarding groups. Manages/coordinates/executes social and group room blocks once the sale has been secured; manages reservation cancellations and changes.

    What you will have an opportunity to do:

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Creates and maintains personable and professional in person, telephone and electronic relationship with clients and staff
    • Manages, plans, details social and group room blocks; works directly with Director of Catering and the contacts for each block
    • Uses Delphi, Maestro and/or SynXis systems for tracking all details relative to the room blocks; enters group pickup, rooming list pickup.
    • Create and distribute Group Summaries & Banquet Event Orders(BEO's)
    • Provides information/communicates to various departments as needed (GROUP SUMMARIES) to ensure groups are serviced in accordance with contract such as amenities, special room/housekeeping needs, F&B special requests, transportation needs, etc.
    • Ensures payment is received in accordance with contractual agreement.
    • Maintain and audit group bookings
    • Track and maintain sales collateral inventory and supplies. Updates inventory spreadsheet and provide copies to DOSM and Assistant Controller.
    • Create trade out accounts, track usage, and act as liaison between client and property.
    • Manage George Street Playhouse/State Theatre Accounts (i.e. - Create and Maintain Room Blocks for shows)
    • Assist with incoming calls and inquiries
    • Act as back-up for lead distribution
    • Create and distribute Breakfast Vouchers
    • Coordinate the receiving and distribution of Amenity Bags
    • Attend and participate in the Weekly Conference Review meeting
    • Entering Rooming Lists/Updating changes to lists and inputs all group information into PMS system
    • Sets up billing for all groups
    • Maintains balance between PMS and Delphi systems
    • Demonstrates exemplary external as well as internal customer service
    • Any special projects as outlined by the Director of Sales

    QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND WORK EXPERIENCE

    • High school diploma required
    • College degree preferred but not required
    • Minimum two years of hotel experience in related role preferred
    • Basic understanding of Sales and Conference Planning procedures
    • Competency working with hospitality software such as Delphi, Maestro, SynXis preferred in addition to competency running/creating reports
    • Experienced user of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) required

    Who are we?

    The housekeeping attendant is responsible to ensure that standards of cleanliness in guest rooms, public spaces and spa are achieved and maintained on a consistent basis to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction in cleanliness and service, within established time limitations.

    What you will have an opportunity to do:

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked at all times.

    Inspect room linens before placing in rooms and return below standard pieces to Housekeeping.

    Proper utilization of equipment, supplies and guest amenities.

    Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of guest bathrooms.

    Daily changing of soiled linens on beds and remaking beds following the property standards and those set forth in the Green Program.

    Thorough cleanliness of rooms and room furnishings.

    Constant awareness of safety hazards, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons) and report to Floor Supervisor or the Housekeeping Office.
    Follow all training procedures set forth in the Bloodborne Pathogens program.

    Strict follow through on lost and found procedures (for example anything found in rooms that are vacant must be turned into Housekeeping Office directly).

    No articles should ever be removed from occupied rooms.

    Absolute respect for guests' property should always be exercised.

    Practice safety standards at all times.

    Responsible care of equipment.

    Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule, to maintain accurate time records and follows proper standards for issuance of rooms.

    Remain alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and co-workers at all times.

    Cleaning and sanitizing all public spaces, restrooms, spa and furniture
    Vacuuming all hallways and public space and under furniture daily
    Dust all furniture and windows, wall hangings, light fixtures, signage and base boards in public space
    Shampoo carpets and remove stains from public space and guest rooms
    Stock linen for Housekeeping staff
    Must be prepared to support housekeeping in all related projects
    Be flexible to assist the front desk with any request relating to rooms and guests
    Must be friendly and knowledgeable to all guests and staff on property
    Must be able to work independently and effectively with little supervision while following all requires during a shift

    Rate of pay is $14/hour + tips.
