Salary: £50-60,000 plus performance bonus and potential company equity within time
About
- An exciting new restaurant is opening in West London cooking over live wood fires and serving a produce driven Modern European menu
- Purpose built 2.5 metre open fire charcoal range
- 60 covers plus private dining
- Live DJ on the basement floor plus wine bar
- Open plan counter kitchen, cooking over live fire
- Closed Mondays and dinner only Tues and Wed a plus lunch and dinner Thursday to Sunday
- Team of 8 chefs
Profile Required:
- Current and stable experience at senior sous or head chef only within leading London restaurants/Michelin/rosettes
- Experienced in live fire cooking (ideal) or a passion to learn and Modern European food/Produce driven
- Work closely with the consultant exe chef with the opening menu and thereafter your own influences
- Recruit and train your chefs
- New opening experience is desirable
- Responsible for kitchen budgets and food cost, achieving targets set, ordering etc.
- Establish the restaurant in the area and make a name
- A high standard of verbal and written English is required
- Ability to work hours as required including the weekends
- Good supplier network
- Long term vision to stay
