Salary £37,000 includes basic plus share of tronc- cash tips on top
7 shifts per week including weekends and nights- 2 days off
Our client is established and is well known for its quality and with a focus on seafood, all served in a relaxed restaurant based in Soho, Central London
Sous Chef requirements:
- Ability to lead and delegate a team of up to 10 chefs in the head chef’s absence
- Passion for serving simple but classical brasserie style food with a focus on fantastic seafood
- A calm, well presented and focused Sous chef within an open plan kitchen
- Knowledge of cooking and preparing seafood is preferred along with volume cooking
- Strong office skills, admin, purchasing, staff rotas, processing invoices, cost control and all health, safety and hygiene regulations
- Stable work history with current London experience in similar high-volume quality brasseries
- Already a sous chef with a minimum of 1 years’ experience at this level working in Non branded operations and with rosette experience
