Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.What You Will Experience In This PositionData Quality Management: Regularly supervise and assess the quality of customer and vendor master data across all internal systems. Ensure compliance with global data quality standards and proceduresData Analysis and Reporting: Analyze master data within the segments to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Generate reports and deliver actionable insights to collaborators to improve master data quality consistently across ERPsData Quality Remediation: Partner with segment data owners and data stewards to correct data inconsistencies, duplicates, and inaccuracies in each ERP. Propose modifications to business processes and data entry techniques to improve overall data qualityData Governance and Compliance: Support the Data Governance team with the development and enforcement of data governance policies. Assist in ensuring compliance with global data privacy and protection regulations.Process Improvement: Benchmark of process optimization of data management-related activities. Implement best practices for data entry, maintenance and monitoring.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with digital technology, sales, sourcing, finance and other teams to ensure the integrity of master data across business units and functions.Training and Support: Train and assist to internal team members on data quality best practices. Document and formal data quality standards policies. Support other master data management needs as requiredYou HaveBachelor's degree requiredPrevious experience:5+ years of total work experience, with 2+ years of experience in a data quality, data governance, or data analysis role, specifically with customer and/or vendor dataDemonstrate proficiency in gathering, structuring, evaluating, and communicating substantial volumes of information, emphasizing on attention to detail and accuracyKnowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to the management of enterprise information assetsExcellent intercultural communication and collaboration skillsProficiency in a publicly-traded company preferredSkills:Proficient knowledge of MS Excel and Windows based software (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)Experience with data quality tools, data warehouses and analytical software is preferredTechnical aptitude and/or willingness to learn new software/applications is highly desiredGood interpersonal prowess, fostering collaborative partnership across diverse functional and global teams, coupled with excellent communication skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Fluency in EnglishWe HaveA dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every dayAt nVent, we connect and protect a more sustainable and electrified world with inventive electrical solutions.
