We are looking for you to continue and expand this success story together.The RoleTesla’s traction inverter team is looking for a skilled and motivated electrical engineer to push the power electronics propelling our vehicles to the next level. The team is presently working on next generation designs and is looking for engineers to help drive our designs to the physical limit. It's an exciting work environment with plenty of engineering resources and bright colleagues to collaborate with.What You'll DoDesign and build custom PCBA, electrical tools, and scripts for testing power semiconductors and power converters. Characterize power semiconductors and power converters performance. Collaborate with mechanical, PCB layout, and firmware engineering teams to successfully design, validate and manufacture traction inverter. What You'll BringMS in Electrical Engineering; or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability. Relevant hands-on hardware experience in high voltage power electronics design, simulation and testing. Good experience with designing analog/digital circuits, including PCBA schematic and layout, and micro-processors programming. Proficiency with basic EE tools (Oscilloscopes, Network analyzers, Signal Generators etc.). Additional Preferred SkillsAwareness of EMC requirements relevant to the design of power converters. Knowledge in environmental, reliability, and safety requirements for automotive applications. Good understanding of switching waveforms and semiconductor losses
