The Buyer ensures the on-time, cost-effective and qualitatively flawless availability of components and services from various suppliers. The buyer and the related team contribute essentially to the delivery performance of Caresyntax and to customer satisfaction.TasksProcure mechanical and electronic components and assemblies for production and development projectsOrder services and procure indirect materials (spare parts, tools and various consumables, equipment of employee workplaces)Prepare requests for quotations, place and track orders, ensure delivery dates, escalate if necessarySelect and qualify suppliers, participate in/execute supplier auditsClarify invoice discrepancies and handle complaints (missing parts, delivery delays and quality defects)Inform internal stakeholders about order status and component availabilityAnalyze market and suppliers for new and existing technologies aligned with our work preparation (TCC) and design departmentMaintain master data of materials and suppliersExecute cost saving projects and supplier consolidationOptimize purchasing processesTake independent responsibility for cost and quality targets. Supervisory Responsibilities:noneRequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (or equivalent experience). Experiencemin. 3 years of experience as a buyer or in a similar procurement role. Familiarity with the procurement of mechanical and electronic components and assemblies. Experience in process improvement and cost savings initiatives. Good insight into the context of supply chain management. Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesKnowledge of procurement processesAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret and analyze market trends and supplier performance data. Excellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of Business Central and the MS Office suite a plusVery good German and good English skills written and spoken.
