We also welcome career changers.With Immediate Effect We Are Looking For aGroup Accountant (m/f/d)AufgabenResponsible for a broad range of internal and external reporting processes including delivery of Group reporting for robust and timely regular monthly and ad-hoc internal / external financials (Role is involved in extensive quarterly group reporting which requires delivery of data to very tight deadlines)Preparing financial statements according to IFRS / HGB / RechkredV including consolidation activities of Lloyds Bank GmbHDelivering process enhancements for internal and external reporting to improve quality and efficiencyPreparing and reviewing of General Ledger journals for BS / P&LIn charge of processing, implementation, and enhancements of Financial Control activities in accordance with Group standards including support on development of accounting policies/proceduresWorking with other team members locally and across Europe to deliver the required reporting outputs by building strong and effective relationshipsPerforming regular reviews of work with peers and Line ManagerContact for (local GAAP related) finance issues / queries including intercompany elimination, dealing with these timely and efficientlySupport internal and external auditsPrepare balance sheet reconciliationsDelivering and driving finance related input to projects in relation to finance processes, e.g. support requirements gathering, implementation or testingProfilMaster degree with focus on IFRS / HGB accounting, audit and group accounting or equivalentSeveral years of working experience in an accounting, audit or group accounting roleExcellent accounting skills in an IFRS / HGB environment (securitisation transaction know-how is a plus)Experience of intercompany consolidation and reportingExcellent analytical and conceptual skillsVery good skills in Excel and WordIdeally strong accounting software skills including Oracle Fusion / SAP / other consolidation systemsExcellent verbal and written communications skills in English (German is a plusWir bietenAn international team with colleagues from more than 37 different countriesSocial benefits such as a company pension scheme and capital formation contributions30 days holiday as well as 24 and 31 December as non-working days Employee Assistance Programme – personal 24/7 helpline for all employeesVarious possibilities for flexible working, i.a. various part-time models, flexitimeExtensive, very flexible home office arrangementsPossibility to work from other EU countries for up to 30 days per yearAdditional benefits such as sports activities, free fruit, nuts and drinksEmployer contributions to BVG job ticket and a Lease a bike programmeAn informal corporate culture - without dress code and ‘Sie'.An excellent learning culture and opportunity to improve your professional competenciesEasily accessible city centre offices, in the vicinity of many shops and restaurants to which you receive a discount
