In view of further enhancing the growth of their organization in diversified portfolios of energy curing, Toyo Ink Europe is looking for a (m/f/x):R&D ManagerTo strengthen Energy curing chemistry and Product developmentYour positionAs a dynamic R&D Manager, you are dedicated to develop and implement strategic plans for research and development activities, aligning them with the company's objectives and market demands.You monitor and evaluate the performance of the R&D team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster professional growth and development. You drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, fostering creativity and collaboration among the R&D team.Ensuring the successful commercialization of new products, you collaborate closely with multiple cross-functional teams, including Operations, R&D from HQ, EHS, QC, Regulatory affairs, Sales, Strategy en Marketing.You foster strong relationships with external partners, such as suppliers, clients, research institutions, and industry experts, to leverage their expertise and drive innovation. You manage the process of transferring new or modified products from R&D to operations, ensuring seamless integration and efficient scaling up in production. You define, prepare and support Capex investments related to research and development activities.You stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements, incorporating them into the R&D strategy and processes.You report directly to the Director Corporate Strategy of Toyo Ink Europe.Your profileYou have a PhD or Master's degree in Chemicals. You have a minimum of five years of experience in a research and development position.You have the ambition or potential to lead a team, showcasing your leadership qualities and desire to make a significant impact within the organization.Your can-do attitude and drive for continuous improvement set you apart, as you constantly challenge the status quo and strive for excellence.Your experience or expertise in energy-cured ink or the coating industry or flexo printing is highly valued, as it demonstrates your specialized knowledge and familiarity with relevant processes and technologies.Your ability to work effectively in a multicultural organization highlights your adaptability in collaborating with diverse teams.You possess a proactive and results-oriented mindset. Project management skills to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks are essential for the position.Your strong analytical and problem-solving abilities equip you to navigate complex challenges, finding creative solutions to drive success. Ability to set target goals and design parameters to achieve differentiations in Product would be key to success.The knowledge of relevant EU legislation and requirements (EuPIA, REACH,..), industry trends and directions based on EU Green deal is a necessity to be successful in this position.OfferYou will be part of a larger international group and have the opportunity to make your mark at the European level.
