Do you want to play a role in global commerce? This role is critical to ensuring that our properties in Belgium and South-Netherlands are ready for move-in as soon as possible and that technical building upgrades are implemented smoothly. If you enjoy coordinating all the activities related to getting a property customer-ready, then this is the role for you. You will be responsible for identifying, budgeting, coordinating, and managing our tenant and capital improvement projects. You will be in charge of a broad variety of projects, ranging from the replacement of technical installations to a complete building makeover. This means being an integral part of the Leasing and Customer Relationship Management team to understand our buildings, market, and customers. It also means having great relationship-building skills to build trusted partnerships with vendors, public agencies, customers, and internal team members to ensure timely and coordinated delivery of our spaces. This role is also perfectly positioned to optimize our real estate portfolio by having a deep understanding of what features and functions within our properties drive rental behavior. Additionally, this role is in a great position to understand our customers' business and pain points and to help introduce solutions and products to solve problems through our Prologis Essentials program, following the drives of innovation, energy performance, and net zero. This role reports to the Head of Development Management in Northern Europe. What's needed in order to do that: (Technical) Project Management varying from the replacement of technical installations, fit-out works to a complete building make-over.Set up a strategic long term maintenance plan to maintain, add value and future proof a real estate portfolio of 35+ properties, located in Belgium and South-Netherlands.Lead a team of architects, consultants, installers and contractors to develop tenant improvement plans and make ready works.Work effectively as part of an integrated customer service team and support new business lines with Prologis value-added products and services such as Energy (solar and energy storage), Mobility (EV) and Essentials (heatpumps, racking, fit outs).Manage the permitting process and all necessary- approvals from local authorities.Develop, tender and manage competitive bid packages for a variety of sizes of Tenant andCapital Improvement projects in construction cost, sustainability, timing, scope and service.Ensure customer satisfaction through each project Tell us if you're ready. Have a customer centric mindset that focuses on solving customer pain points by providing products and services that meet the customers need3-5 years of experience working in the Construction or Property Management fieldProject management experience with a commercial general contractor, real estate owner, property/facility management company and/or owner's representative preferredBachelors of Science in Construction Management, Business, Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Mechanicalor Structural) or related field preferredExperience in Property Improvements, Roofing, Construction, Tenant Improvements and Renovations.Proficient with or ability to quickly learn new technologies (i.e. Excel, MS Project, Google Earth, ACAD viewer, and Smartsheet)Fluency in written and spoken Dutch & English requiredAbility to travel up to 20% of the time
