They work as trusted partners, creating better solutions and experiences for their customers, communities, and colleagues.About The RoleYou lead, develop and implement the Procurement Category Strategies in consistency with the Holcim regional / global Procurement activities.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, Implement and lead of Procurement Category Strategies in consistency with the Holcim regional / global Procurement activitiesEnsure supply performance and develop supply chain models to improve cost and reliability and reduce risk and CO2 footprint – by providing best TCO across defined product categoriesNegotiate, manage and implement supplier contracts with support of legal teamSupport Holcim Solutions and Products EMEA acquisitions and integration of procurement activitiesLead new product introductions activities and develop strategy to introduce new sourcesAbility to create and communicate reports to senior management (KPI based, project reporting, savings reporting)Set and drive SRM through Continuous Improvement programs.Your ProfileEducation / QualificationBachelor or Master degree, or equivalent through experiencePrevious professional experience in a procurement or other commercial functionsProfessional background in sourcing chemicals / Raw MaterialsExperienceStrong negotiation skills: previous experience in executing commercial negotiations and contract developmentsDeep experience in sourcing materials for Direct Spend Stream: ability to build should cost model and to present towards external suppliersOpen communication skills: ability to interact with colleagues within different functions in the organization (Manufacturing, Sales, R&D, Technical Department)Excellent analytical skills: ability to elaborate data, build should cost model, communicate and implement decisions driven by data.Knowledge & SkillsSystem Knowledge: SAP, MS OfficeChemical Business Intelligence ReportsWilling to professionally develop in a strong multicultural team and a leading company in Solutions and Products for the construction businessLanguage RequirementsFluency in English and German, French and Dutch are considered an assetDo you want to work in an international and dynamic working environment with attractive benefits?
