As an R&D - Product development Lab Manager you will develop and industrialize new products (paintings) for Collision, Commercial Transportation and Light Industrial Coating to meet customer needs. You will report to the R&D Technical Manager and you will manage 4 chemists.Responsibilities Implement development projects or components in your field . Supervise a group of chemists engineers and provide technical leadership for the training, performance management and motivation of the team. Actively contribute to product development with your knowledge and close attention to functional requirements Develop products considering extra laboratory constraints (marketing delays, preparation and modality of registration files). Apply intensive and diverse knowledge of principles and practices in areas of assignment and related fields to solve problems. Develop professional relationships with raw materials suppliers to acquire all the information to develop new products and to find the lower price for raw materials. Work together with raw materials supplier and customer to improve final product performance. Ensure compliance with regional EU and national quality standards and safety norms. Support the countries' sales force in developing valuable products and providing customized paint system information/test results.QualificationsDegree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering or equivalent.
