Hays Property has partnered with a great Property Management Company, to assist in the growth of their Leasing team at their luxury residential property in Washington, DC.

Job Description/Duties

• Tour apartments with prospective tenants.
• Complete tenant applications as well as lease and renewal documents.
• Lease and pre-lease apartments.
• Responsible for all retention activities.
• Walk the tour path and maintain model apartments.
• Review apartment vacancies.
• Assist onsite management team with resident relations.
• Maintain daily and weekly leasing reports and monthly market surveys.
• Analyze market and occupancy trends and shop the competition.

Job Requirements

• One - Two years of apartment leasing experience.
• Must have strong closing skills.
• Self Starter and Fast Learner
• Available to work a flexible schedule including occasional weekends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Experienced in managing the internal applicant database.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
