Spa Manager – Cruise Ships

You, as the BRILLIANT Spa Manager are responsible for overseeing the daily business of the Spa facility, perform services for guests and are the direct line of management for spa personnel.Role:    Spa ManagerCruise line:  International Cruise lineSalary:       $3213 USD per month Tax free – paid whilst on board onlyRotation:        3 months on and 1 month offCabin:           Single CabinStart date:     February 2026Flights, accommodation, food and uniform all provided by the cruise line.  Main Responsibilities:Responsible for the daily operation of the Beauty Salon, Saunas, Fitness and Massage Rooms, including hairdressing, beauty treatments, massage, manicure / pedicure and fitness.Assist Spa team with bookings and performing various Spa services.Constantly strives to upgrade the level of service and increase income on board the fleet, achieving and surpassing targets set.Handles all questions, requests, problems or complaints raised by guests promptly and in a polite manner. Any difficulties to be reported to the Hotel Manager and Fleet Spa Manager accordingly.Ensure all MSDS, risk assessment, chemical inventory, heavy objects and sauna & steam room temperature logs are kept up to date.Plan cruises, seminars and fitness schedules.Daily management of spa personnel, including familiarisation, on the job training, performance management and coaching.Is responsible for accurate charging of revenue to guests accounts and completion of all paperwork and reporting, both daily and end of cruise.Ensuring that all furniture, fixtures, carpets and equipment are looked after and in working order, to report any defects.Ensure high standards of services within the Spa.Please refer to the relevant parts of the SQM as identified in your familiarisation.Follow company policy.Perform safety rules as specified on “Muster List”.Complete general cleaning and stock take for all the Spa and Fitness areas at the end of each cruise.Ensure towels are changed after each client.Ensure that sterilisation of equipment is carried out between clients.Ensure that all Sanitising Logs and check lists are completed at the end of each day.You may be called upon to perform ad hoc duties when required.Requirements:You will have been a shipboard Spa Manager for at least 1 year already (and recently)Experience in hairdressing is very desirableYou to be a working / hands-on Spa Manager in a discipline such as Hairstylist, Massage Therapist, Beauty TherapistWith full and valid STCW certificatesAvailable VERY SOON.You should be based in Europe or hold visas to work in the EU/UK on ships.
