IT Systems Analyst

Job Description1. Assist in providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance YASREF existing Microsoft based systems.2. Support in identifying opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes.3. Coordinate application development for multiple projects.4. Participate in analyzing data contained in the corporate database and identify data integrity issues with existing and proposed systems and implement solutions.5. Provides assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology.6. Support in writing technical procedures and documentation for the applications including operations, user guide, etc.7. Participate on IT project steering committees and be involved in the design phase of any new IT software development projects.8. Coordinate on-going training for system users, deliver training sessions as required, and promote web-based training as needed, in collaboration with HR.9. Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units to assist in addressing and resolving IT software issues.10. Periodically plan and deploy patches based on vendor and security recommendations.11. Perform health check of infrastructure systems and test the effectiveness of backups performed.12. Analyze the scope for improvements and enhancements.13. Ensure timely actions are performed based on the threat intelligence feeds and advisories.14. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Unit Lead.15. Monitoring for vulnerabilities and risks in existing software and systems.16. Ensuring security updates are updated on all systems.17. Experience with maintaining and managing firewalls, antivirus, proxy, DLP and NetScaler administration solutions.18. Analyzing network systems and structures to ensure the most secure approach is being deployed.19. Ensuring security tools are running properly on company networks and devices.20. researching emerging threats and the safeguards that can provide protection.21. Responding to data breaches and malicious malware attacks.22. Periodically plan and deploy patches based on vendor and security recommendations.23. Presenting findings, reports and solutions to upper management.24. Ensure timely actions are performed based on the threat intelligence feeds and advisories.25. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by unit lead.26. Monitoring security devices and implementing the best security protocols to ensure best practices.27. Perform health check of infrastructure systems and test the effectiveness of backups performed.28. Maintain quality service by following organization standards.29.
