Environmental Specialist/ Field Technician

We are searching for an Environmental Specialist/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have core competencies in health & safety, policies and procedures, attention to detail, and utilization. With direct supervision of senior staff, the Environmental Specialist performs environmental field sampling including collection of groundwater samples from monitor wells, collection of surface and subsurface soil samples, and assist with data analysis and development of presentations.This role will initially be an Hybrid role out of our Alameda, CA office. This position will report to a Project Manager. This is a Full-Time position.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollect soil and groundwater samples for laboratory analysis while accurately following identified SOP’s, field sampling plans and Cameron- Cole guidelines and proceduresCalibrate & Decontaminate field equipment, including handling potentially hazardous wasteReview lab analytical reports for accuracy and tabulate environmental dataDevelop site maps of groundwater contour and chemical iso concentrationAssist with the preparation of draft reports and presentations including tables, charts and graphs Assemble approved reports for distributionAll other duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma; Associates in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Geology, or Related Field Preferred40-hour OSHA HAZWOPERValid Driver’s License0-3 years of professional consulting experience in Site Assessment, Characterization and RemediationExperience and understanding of groundwater extraction and treatment systemsSalary: $23.00 – 32.00 HourlyWe offer competitive salaries based on location, experience, and education.
