Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer with a passion for the automation industry to join our client's team. You will drive business development and sales efforts across the region west of Zurich, leveraging your technical expertise and client network to deliver customized solutions. This is a great opportunity for a sales-driven individual with a junior profile but some relevant experience in the field.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients in the Olten, Lucerne, and Zug areas.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow our customer base.
  • Use your existing network to develop long-term customer partnerships.
  • Present our products and solutions to potential customers and demonstrate how they meet specific needs.
  • Work closely with the engineering and project teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to keep ahead in the market.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fluent in Swiss German and French; at least B1-level English for internal communication.
  • Experience in tooling and automation, especially if you have a network of clients in Olten, Lucerne, Zug; experience in Romandie is a bonus, but not essential.
  • drive for sales—we want someone with ambition and energy, ready to take the next step in their sales career.
  • Some prior sales experience in the industry (we’re not looking for complete beginners or fresh graduates).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on finding solutions that work for both the company and the client.
  • Willingness to travel within the region.
