Freelance Python Developer

We are currently looking for a Freelance Python Developer for a company that develop Central Databank.

The primary responsibility of this role is to automate the daily querying of an external API to import new notifications. The position involves facilitating bulk imports of notifications from various sources and enabling CSV exports of public data. The work revolves around managing a web application with specific features

Responsibilities

Main tasks:

User Registration and Approval:

• Implement a registration system for recognized pest control agents.
• User registration requires approval.

Public Map Interface:

• Develop and maintain an online public map displaying all notifications.
• Include search and filter options based on date, status, municipality, and GIS layer.

User Interaction on the Map:

• Allow users to click on a notification on the map.
• Provide a form for users to supplement information about pest control efforts, including date, materials used, and results.

Admin Functionality:

• Admin users, utilizing the Django admin, can modify and delete notifications.

Hosting Environment:

• Ensure the web application is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Requirements

• You have at least 5 years of experience in Python/ DJango
• Experience with: PostgreSQL/ POstGIS
• REST API's
• HTML, CSS, Javascript
• AWS
