The Procurement and Supply Chain Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain within the management consulting industry. This position is ideal for individuals who have a background in food and beverage production and are looking to leverage their expertise in a dynamic consulting environment. The primary focus is on optimizing procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that the supply chain operates efficiently to meet client demands.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  3. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  4. Coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained.
  5. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  6. Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in procurement activities.
  8. Lead cross-functional teams in supply chain projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  9. Conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. BA in Finance, Hospitality or any relevant field
  2. Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, in the food and beverage industry is a MUST.
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  4. Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage supplier relationships.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Proficient in supply chain management software and tools.
  8. Adaptable and open to change in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Strong problem-solving skills to address supply chain challenges.
  10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
