IT Network Engineer

A leading financial technology company is actively recruiting a Network Engineer to be based in Riyadh.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Develop comprehensive network architecture designs as per the company’s requirements.
• Plan and implement network enhancement and expansion to support the company’s objectives.
• Collaborate with the IT teams for the deployment and configuration of network hardware, software, and protocols.
• Monitor and analyse network performance, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing strategies to improve network efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems administrators, developers, and cybersecurity experts.
• Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior network engineers.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, configurations, and processes.
• Generate regular reports on network performance, security, and capacity.

Skills

To be successful you will need to meet the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar. Advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CCIE.
• 15+ years’ experience in network architecture, design, and implementation.
• Proficient in networking protocols, VLANs, security principles, and best practices.
• Experience with network virtualization such as NSX and cloud-based networking solutions.
