About the Opportunity

We are on the lookout for a UI/UX Designer with a keen eye for design and expert-level HTML/CSS skills to join our forward-thinking team. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, playing a key role in both the visual conception and the live implementation of new applications and features. Your responsibility extends beyond mere aesthetics; you'll be the architect of intuitive user experiences and ensure accessible, responsive front-end design.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the design of user interfaces for web and mobile applications, focusing on optimizing user engagement through intuitive and compelling designs.
• Convert UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application, ensuring a seamless translation from concept to execution.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups using design and prototyping tools.
• Write high-quality HTML/CSS code with responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility in mind.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance the usability of the product.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards across the organization.
• Stay abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies, infusing them into our design practices to enhance user satisfaction.

Skills

• Brings a portfolio showcasing UI/UX design skills with a strong understanding of HTML/CSS coding.
• Has the ability to craft visually appealing designs as well as convert them into live, functional web interfaces.
• Possesses a solid grasp of design principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• Is proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and modern web design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of responsive design and can code HTML and CSS.
• Is self-motivated and capable of working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
• Has excellent problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and a keen attention to detail.
• Exhibits strong communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate with non-design stakeholders.
