Assistant Hotel Manager -France (H/F)

Salary: €1000 NET - €1300 NET per month

Including: on-site accommodation; 3x meals a day (7 days a week);

Contrat: seasonal / saisonnier(February/March to September - maximum).

Location: Calvados, Normandie, France

We are pleased to work with a group managing holiday “summer camp” type properties in France. They are looking for a strong, talented and polyvalent candidate to join them this upcoming season of 2022. They are working with French and European organisation and will welcome children (age 13-17) from March until the end of summer.

As Assistant Manager, you will be at the heart of the operation !

You will…

• Oversee the day to day running of operation
• Ensure the team is motivated and at its best throughout the season. (including organising incentives activities and social events for the staff).
• Help create rotas and ensure everything is running smoothly as well as adhering to French work regulations.
• Be a driving force behind successfully delivering an unforgettable experience for the guests
• Be happy to support the General Manager with any queries or issues.

THE IDEAL PROFILE AND QUALITIES

• A vibrant personality with the ‘customer comes first’ attitude to working
• A willingness to learn and be an entire part of the operation (front and back of house)
• Responsible and reliable with outstanding customer service skills
• Hard working and not afraid to roll your sleeves up and muck in
• A real team motivator
• Previous experience in managing a team is essential
• Able to be on top of your game from dusk till dawn
• Previous experience working with children is a bonus!
• A good level of French speaking is a bonus! Ideally you are bilingual French & English
