The Agricultural Engineer with Animal Health International partners with our sales team in providing automation solutions in feed manufacturing to our new and existing customers.
The Agricultural Engineer will develop automation solutions for customer feedmill operations, design and implement dispensing equipment solutions, and provide technical support for systems installed in customer facilities. This position will be responsible for supporting AHI dispensing equipment manufacturing and installation projects at customer sites.
The Agricultural Engineer will support AHI business goals through partnering with our sales team and customers in providing automation solutions for feed manufacturing. The Agricultural Engineer will also develop processes for feed mill operations, design and support dispensing systems, and provide technical support service to our customers.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of mechanical/electrical experience.
• Mechanical/electrical design and drafting abilities using Solidworks software.
• Proven ability in process design and automation systems development.
• Proven ability in process analysis, problem solving, and implementing solutions in a production environment.
• Extensive experience in weighing systems, PLC systems, motor drives (frequency/DC), and other industrial automation devices.
• Demonstrated success in prioritizing and time-management.
• Oral or written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electro/Mechanical Engineering
• Feed mill operation with steam flaking of grain
• Agricultural work experience in the beef and dairy industries
• Hardware and control system design
