As a key member of our trading technology group, you will play a critical role in developing and optimizing our trading systems and algorithms. Your expertise in Python programming and your understanding of financial markets will be instrumental in driving our trading strategies and enhancing our overall trading performance.Main Activities:Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts, and other team members to understand trading requirements and translate them into efficient Python code.Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading systems and algorithms, implementing strategies for various financial instruments and markets.Analyze market data, historical performance, and risk metrics to fine-tune trading strategies and improve overall trading outcomes.Integrate third-party data feeds, APIs, and trading platforms into our systems to ensure real-time data availability and accurate execution.Optimize code and algorithms for low-latency execution, high throughput, and scalability, ensuring optimal performance in a high-frequency trading environment.Conduct thorough testing and validation of trading strategies to ensure reliability and robustness in different market conditions.Monitor trading systems and algorithms in real-time, identifying and resolving any issues to maintain continuous and uninterrupted trading operations.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in algorithmic trading and Python development to drive innovation in our trading strategies.Collaborate with other technology teams to improve overall system architecture, data storage, and system performance as related to trading operations.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.Proven professional experience as a Python Developer with a focus on trading and financial markets.Strong proficiency in Python programming and its related libraries (NumPy, Pandas, etc.).In-depth knowledge of financial markets, trading concepts, and various financial instruments (equities, futures, options, etc.).Experience with algorithmic trading, market-making, or high-frequency trading strategies.Familiarity with financial data analysis, backtesting, and statistical methods.Solid understanding of trading platforms, order management systems, and exchange connectivity.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative solutions to complex trading challenges.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with trading teams and stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
