Description
- Oversee and drive Optical lines of businesses.
- Build and maintain a high performing optical sales team that meets or exceeds KPIs & sales goals while maintaining excellent quality and relationships. Manages and executes business operations, retail, lab/manufacturing services, visual merchandising, marketing, promotions & lens offerings. Responsible for achieving profitability, revenue growth, & budget targets. Ensure cross functionally relationships between field & corporate.
- Requires travel within Southern California for Clinic site visits at Optical locations.
- Oversee company's sales performance at all optical locations by implementing effective sales strategies & ensuring sales targets are met/exceeded consistently at each location.
- Manage and drive operational excellence in all aspects of Optical P&L.
- Achieve sales and profit objectives and monitor sales analytics and extract knowledge from the data.
- Assemble & develop high performing optical sales team.
- Analyze gaps in performance by reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximize sales results by region and by store; take appropriate action to correct when necessary.
- Drive organizational performance & effectiveness by translating analytics into actions & sustainable results.
- Provide partnerships to all external and internal relationships to ensure strong relationships exist between business, core operations, and optical, maximizing financial results in each location.
- Provide supervision through field visits, observations & measurement of results to include performance appraisals & salary reviews.
- Proactively identify changes in competitive pressures & customer shifts to develop and modify strategies and tactics.
- Lead effectively through change management.
Requirements
- 5 plus years' related work experience in a retail and customer service environment.
- or an equivalent combination of both education and work experience.
- Prior staff management experience.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize work.
- Valid Driver's License
DESIRABLE: Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare or related field Prior experience in the optical industry or other retail healthcare management experience.
