We are eager to learn and serious about having fun.Why are we searching for you?We have seen a decrease in traffic due to Google's Helpful Content updates. And this is a severe problem. We are searching for someone who thoroughly understands and keeps an eye on Google's future search engine strategy – specifically the content strategy – and develops a product strategy to handle the upcoming changes. We want to return to an annual 30% visitor growth rate.What are your three main goals?Keep an extremely close eye on Google's search engine strategy – develop and adjust a SEO product strategy.Increase visitors by 30%.Increase engaged sessions by 20%.What does your team look like?You will be a part of the current visitor growth team. This multidisciplinary Scrum team comprises of a product owner, one SEO specialist, and four engineers. This team's purpose is to increase the number of high-quality visitors and is fully equipped to build, and change, whatever needs to be done to execute upon our growth strategy.ToolingTo optimize SEO, we now employ SEMrush, Search Console, Speedcurve, and Google Analytics. And, on occasion, other services such as Similarweb and Scale SERP. We are open to exploring new tools and services to help us achieve the effect we seek.Requirements6+ years of SEO experience, with a proven track record of developing SEO strategy for comprehensive, international high volume and traffic platforms. Not just single marketing landing pages.In-depth knowledge of Google's search engine strategy, particularly the Helpful Google Content plan, and SEO trends.A strong analytical mentality to delve into the details while still being able to strategically plan and retain a clear picture.Deep technical SEO expertise, including website architecture, crawlability, indexation, site speed optimization, structured data markup, XML sitemaps, canonicalization, and other technical aspects.SEO performance analysis and reporting using tools such as SEMrush, Search Console, Speedcurve, and Google Analytics, among others.Advanced keyword research and analysis to identify target keywords, search volume, competition, and user intent.
