Job description
The holder of this position will be responsible for some of the individual activities listed below, and is also responsible for the safe and clean operation of the activities within their area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Follow proper work instruction procedures for the task, including laboratory testing for specification compliance and all aspects of product integrity.
- Coordinate production with the Sector Manager to meet production targets.
- Ensure adequate procedures for production safety for biosecurity purposes
- Maintain equipment as directed and make sure the work area is always clean.
- Test the product as required by the quality instructions and perform qualified tests as specified.
- Sanitize the equipment as needed.
- Follow GMP and other quality processes and procedures.
- Carry out other tasks if assigned by the sector manager
Minimum qualifications:
- Ability to work in a food production environment
- Previous experience of at least 2 years in the food sector
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to communicate and understand expectations for the role
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to record / documentation on Word / Excel
- Basic knowledge of laboratory test equipment
- Ability to speak and write Italian
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
