We are looking for a Controls Engineer to support manufacturing operations, production floor controls equipment & instrumentation, measurements equipment and image processing software/technology.

We will assist a talented engineer with relocation.

What you will be doing

Using your background in electrical controls and manufacturing (ideally with some measurements experience), you will support new equipment builds and equipment transfer.

• Support troubleshooting, updating, and enhancing existing plant electrical/control systems.
• Provide support with motion control systems, robotics systems and inspections systems
• Implement hardware and software components for controls systems.
• Participate in receivership of electrical/control systems delivered to the plant, during design, fabrication, integration and testing, installation, and production start-up. Ensure training of plant personnel and technology transfer.
• Lead projects for existing systems and new plant-specific controls equipment.

• What you need for this Position Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• At least three years of Electrical Controls Experience
• Experience with Rockwell PLCs (ControlLogix)
• Fundamental understanding of electrical design practices, machine/motion control systems, electro-mechanical systems, robotics, programming and system integration
• Ability to design control systems, do programming and integrate close loop control systems
• Experience with RSView and PanelView HMIs
• Understanding of National Electric Code NFPA 79, NFPA 70e, ANSI and IEC electrical symbols

• Experience collaborating with IT, Process and Mechanical Engineering
• Manufacturing experience
• Some leadership experience and a desire to grow as a technical leader
• Experience with Vision Systems
• Robotics experience.
