Excellent opportunity with a real estate firm who are looking to hire a Construction Manager.

I am currently recruiting for a 25+ year, successful Real Estate firm in the DC area who own and operate multifamily apartments throughout the DC and Northern Virginia market. Due to their continual growth, they who are looking to hire a Construction Manager (in-house) to manage Multifamily developments in the DC area.

About the role:

• Manage the full cycle of the multifamily project from design, planning, financial approval, permit issuance, construction and financial closeout.
• Projects can vary from heavy renovations, structural adaptations or light capital improvements in the multifamily units or associated buildings/amenity spaces. New build construction is not something in their current pipeline but is a potential later down the line.
• Oversight of the general contractors and various other vendors (architect, engineers, subcontractors and government officials) involved in the construction process.
• Host weekly progress meetings on site. The work schedule will be flexible on-site, in the office or working from home.
• Support from senior management will be present however the requirement to stand on your own two feet is a must.
• Work closely with the in-house asset and property management team to report on the progress of the project including details of financial tracking and schedule.
