Academic background in mining hydrology and geochemistry may be considered in lieu of work experience.Knowledgeable about geochemical testing methods, water quality analysis, data QA/QC, and the evaluation of acid and metalliferous mine drainage.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and GIS.Experience with geochemical modeling software including PHREEQC, Geochemist’s Workbench, and GoldSim strongly preferred.Experience with hydrogeologic modeling software such as MODFLOW, SURFACT, HYDRUS, FEFLOW, or Leapfrog is preferred.Strong attention to detail, with strong writing and communication skills.GIT, EIT, or can enter certification program within one year of employmentWork Environment:Position can be located in the Denver or Fort Collins, CO office.
