Our client, a leading UK multi-disciplinary engineering specialist, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of complex and high-profile civil engineering projects, with a particular focus on large-scale rail infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Management and Supervision: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of site engineers and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support on-site, interpreting complex drawings and specifications to set out and check works. Ensure all engineering activities comply with design requirements and construction standards.Health and Safety: Uphold and enforce the highest standards of health and safety on site. Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
