- Enthusiasm for field mapping;
- 0-5 years experience, with bachelors degree in Geology (Masters Degree is preferable);
- Fluency in oral and written English;
- Fluency in Portuguese;
- Ability to perform frequent domestic travel, possess a valid drivers license;
- Occasional international travel;
- Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Strong reporting, presentation skills and ability to synthesize information well;
- Ability to work effectively at various levels of the organization and across organizational boundaries.
Knowledge
- Experience in fieldwork and mapping;
- Familiarity with core drilling, logging, sampling and testing of carbonate rocks;
- Familiarity with geophysical prospecting desirable but not mandatory;
- Familiarity with, or aptitude for learning specialized software packages commonly used in mining industry.

- Demonstrates personal initiative and is self-motivated;

- Organization and facilitation skills (planning and organizing, problem solving, analytical, decision making, multi-tasking).
- Field mapping to support prospecting activities and support of current suppliers;
- Developing 3D models of the structure and chemistry of carbonate ore deposits;
- Planning and supervision of core drilling projects, geophysical surveys and occasional hydrologic studies;
- Providing input and support in the development of mine plans;
- Assures that the quarries and mines can supply the required quality and quantities of limestone to satisfy our customers by the best integration of geology into mine plans;
- Supports Sales and Marketing by advising on the translation of available reserves in the market;
- Prospects for new deposits and reports on the geological portion of Due Diligence assignments;
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
