• Placing the concrete either directly from the concrete wagon chute, concrete pump, concrete skip or wheelbarrow
• Finish concrete walls & slabs
• Install embedded steel items in concrete
• Ordering concrete to avoid disruptions in supply
• Ordering stone and concrete to avoid overages
• Order and coordinate delivery schedules for concrete materials
• Mixing of concrete, and setting of forms
• Load and secure equipment and attachments to transport vehicle
• Assign workers to such tasks as cutting material to size, building concrete forms, setting grades, pouring and finishing concrete
• Remove rough defects from concrete using concrete grinder or chisel and hammer
• Locate, measure and lay out locations for placement of concrete
• Setting the concrete forms, ensuring the correct depth and pitch
• Placing, finishing, protecting and repairing concrete in construction projects
• Supervise concrete finishing and clean-up
• Run finisher equipment and use machines that vibrate concrete to fill air pockets
• Pressing an edger between the forms and the concrete to chamber the edges
• Manage all aspects of concrete flat work, depending upon role, including manpower
• Manage all aspects of building concrete structures or flat work, depending upon role, including manpower
• Form and finish concrete to grade Construction Foreman with relevant of five years of experience
• Obtain Work Acceptance Form on each completed job
