Internal Auditor | Insurance | Brussels

We are actively looking for an Internal Auditor for one of our clients active in the insurance industry and located in Brussels. 

Our client is a European insurance group specializing in the acquisition and management portfolios. Our partner operates across Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and beyond. As Internal Auditor, you will closely with 2 other Auditors and you will focus yourself on business operations and control functions. You will independently lead audits from planning to reporting, delivering objective insights to the management.

This role is ideal for an External Auditor with experience in banking and insurance clients who is ready to take their first step into the internal environment

Function:

• Lead and execute all phases of audits
• Contribute to the preparation of the risk internal audit plan
• Communicate audit progress and findings to the management and relevant stakeholders
• Identify weaknesses, provide and follow-up recommendations for improvements.
• Support audit improvement
• Assist the team in annual risk assessments

Profile:

• Master’s degree in Economics, Sciences Management or Finance
• At least 3 years of experience as an Internal or External Auditor. A first experience in the banking and insurances sectors is needed
• You speak English fluently and have a good proficiency in French and Dutch
• You are autonomous and able to handle an audit from A to Z
• You are a proactive and persuasive communicator
• You are committed to continuous improvement and consistently drive positive changes
