We are hiring immediately for a Research Assistant I/II to join the UTHealth McGovern Medical School, Department of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics in Houston, TX 77030. A major focus of the De Lay laboratory is on understanding how the bacterium Treponema pallidum subspecies pallidum infects and disseminates with its human host to cause the disease known as syphilis. In this role you will conduct research activities, assisting undergraduate and graduate students, and maintaining adequate laboratory supplies. The ideal candidate should have experience with tissue culture.
