Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to ensure long-term durability of engine systems and components by evaluating their performance under real-world operating conditions.
- Analyze and contrast accumulated stress between standard endurance testing and actual machine usage cycles.
- Provide expertise in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) across engines, subsystems, and individual components.
- Conduct comprehensive system-level risk assessments to identify potential reliability issues.
- Configure engine setups and maintain associated data within reliability management tools.
- Gather and integrate test data from both laboratory environments and field operations into reliability models.
- Apply and interpret key reliability indicators such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), failure rates, and Weibull distributions.
- Perform statistical evaluations of machine duty cycles to support reliability predictions.
- Establish standard operating cycles tailored to specific applications.
- Contribute to the development of benchmark testing protocols for engine validation.
- Design or refine analytical models to better predict and understand failure mechanisms.
Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have completed studies in probability theory, statistics, data science, and programming
- You have good knowledge of reliability engineering in the industrial environment
- You have at least 5 years of experience in Reliability Engineering
- • You have a very good command of French and German or English (minimum B2 level)
- • You have advanced knowledge of MS Office, reliability tools (ReliaSoft, nCode), MATLAB
- and Python
