Job Description

We are working with a fantastic venue in Nottingham who are on the hunt for a superstar Venue & Events Manager to join their team! You will be responsible for driving revenue into the site across corporate and private hire, as well as curating a creative public events program. We are looking for a real self-starter, with a proven track record of exceeding targets, and must be able to think outside the box for new ways to generate new business!

Responsibilities :

  • Proactively drive sales for the site, identifying new opportunities to increase revenue
  • Curate and plan a creative and exciting event program
  • Prospecting, executing sales presentations and closing event sales
  • Timely planning and coordination of all events to meet quarterly deadlines
  • Maintain a strong presence at events and delegate to wider team
  • Achieve monthly and yearly revenue targets
  • Build strong internal and external relationships
  • Maintain an in-depth awareness of current and upcoming trends

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven track sales record within events / hospitality
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage your own pipeline
  • Excellent negotiator
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Passion for events
  • Enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated
  • Ability to think outside the box and get creative!
