Responsibilities
Plan and lead the installation and sequencing of machines, works stations, tools, parts and supplies to optimize the efficiency of the production process.Guide or coach Engineers in preparing engineering process documentation.
Analysis and development of manufacturing functions, capacities, and facilities needed to produce the customers product.
Coordinates with stakeholders to develop improvement plans which support established manufacturing methods, practices, and designs
Uses tools to gather information on current state conditions (cycle time, lead time, scrap rate, test results, etc.).
Assists Design and Project Engineers, external customers, and manufacturing team members to resolve product level issues from production.
Responsible for the creation and update of related documentation (test procedures, assembly instructions, specifications, checklists, etc.).
Assist key personnel, project lead engineers, and/or Operations management in determination of work scope, tasks, schedules, and budgets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Specialized professional knowledge of the theory, principles, and practices of mechanical or industrial engineering in an automotive environment.
Working knowledge of Solidworks, AutoCAD or equivalent programs.
Technical writing skills sufficient to prepare product specifications, test, and process documentation.
Prior knowledge and practice with Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time, and Total Quality Management.
5+ years of experience as a manufacturing working on mechanical or electromechanical systems.
Ability to effectively employ standard methods and tools, APQP, PPAP (DFEMA, PFMEA, PFD, Control Plans, MSA, Capability Studies, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven working experience in design documentation development.
Knowledge of IATF, ISO 9001 & ISO14001 standard.
English fluent - Business conversation .
