Position, Senior Designer

Seeking an experienced designer with 5+ years’ experience working within the home-décor industry. Candidate must have strong graphic design skills and experience in Home Décor (accessories, tabletop, wall décor, storage, decorative). Experience within the mass retail market is required.

What You’ll Be Responsible for

• Researching and developing seasonal trends, themes, concepts, color direction, material, fabrications and styling.
• Creating new products for mass market customers. Duties will include trend spotting and development; product design and renderings; technical packs and customer presentations for any given home décor category.
• Researching and developing seasonal trends, themes, concepts, color direction, material, fabrications and styling.
• Working with the Product Development Manager to implement line building as it aligns with departmental goals and vision.
• Delivering effective, cohesive product presentations for internal customers.
• Daily/Weekly communication with PD Director on goals, timelines, and deliverables progress.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience in consumer products
• Portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design work in categories relevant to the position
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
• Excellent understanding of color theory, typography, and layout design.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Location: Open to remote candidates who reside within USA only.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year + Benefits
