With 65+ years of expertise, our ecosystem of interconnected products combined with our complete vehicle expertise uniquely positions us to advance mobility in an expanded transportation landscape.About The RoleThis role supports the corresponding team lead in all activities of the IT Engineering Services department and ensure active participation in the daily business of her/his functional responsibility.Your ResponsibilitiesAdministration of the Engineering VDI System , but not limited, to hardware, software and user supportFocus on systems and application stability, security, performance, and capacity management, as well as documentationManages and coordinates the deployment, and expansion of Client Server technologies, monitoring, and refinement, researching solutions to existing problemsProvide on-site support to users in determined engineering officesDocumentation of current and future configuration processes and policiesTroubleshoot problems with hardware, software, network, and security administrationWho We Are Looking For3 to 5 years of IT experience with hardware and software installation and maintenance in a multi-domain, multi-site network environment preferably automotive IT engineering supportCompleted professional education within IT sector, degree from a recognized IT program or equivalent work experienceTechnical certifications: Microsoft Windows / Linux server administration experience required. Expertise in system installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, monitoring, and security proceduresApplication Knowledge: Citrix / VMware / Server OS expertise including installation, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, monitoring, and security proceduresCloud experience (Azure, AWS)Your Preferred QualificationsExpert use of monitoring and troubleshooting utilities to effectively diagnose problemsExperience with Software license monitoring and compliance reportingExperience with Enterprise ticket management systems for problem resolution and evidence captureWhat We OfferAt Magna, you can expect an engaging and dynamic environment where you can help to develop industry-leading automotive technologies.
