You should have working knowledge of all facets of user experience design, including user research, interaction design, content design, visual design, accessibility, and design systems with a curiosity to learn and explore each area.Job Description:As a UX Design Intern for the MicroBusiness Experience team, you will:Contribute to customer problem solving through hypothesis-based wireframes, flows, high-fidelity designs and prototypes. Leading to the ongoing enhancements for high touch experiences of the PayPal app.Work in a collaborative environment where different perspectives and backgrounds inside our team lead to innovation and inclusion in our product design. Partner with team members across various disciplines including product, marketing, planning, and engineering.In your day-to-day role you will:Help create scalable designs for various customer segments, on a variety of form factors (like mobile app, mweb and desktop web), and regions globally“Be the customer” and work towards creating experiences customers will loveWork within existing style guides and patterns, while continuing to push the envelope for better experiences for our customersUse divergent and convergent thinking to explore many possible design solutionsProvide design concepts that align to project goalsCleary articulate design decisions and confidently speak about design rationaleUse design tools like Figma to present designs to key stakeholders across all levels and disciplines Facilitate design discussions with clear and high-quality outputsWhat you need to bring:Solid attention to detail and craftPassionate member of the design community, keeping up to date with the latest design trends across web and mobile platformsCustomer-focused, understanding of design research methods to uncover insightsConvincing written and verbal communication skillsEducation:Working toward a bachelor's degree in a design related domain such as product design, visual design, graphic design, Human Factors, HCI, Computer Science, industrial design, architecture (or equivalent experience).We know the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates.
