Job Description

At Schneider Electric, we are seeking a highly driven and passionate individual to join our team as a Supply Quality Senior Engineer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring world-class quality within our supply base and supporting our manufacturing plants.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive proactive quality, delivery, and productivity improvements with our supply base. Evaluate the quality systems of new and existing suppliers and conduct material process and quality plan audits as needed. Coach and train our supply base on Schneider Electric's expectations, systems, and performance objectives. Respond promptly to emergency quality and delivery issues, ensuring rapid resolution. Take charge of day-to-day Supplier Quality Management in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This position has the responsibility to provide supplier quality support to the manufacturing SE plants for PP suppliers of Schneider Electric.This position will report directly to the Supplier Quality Manager of the ClusterThe primary roles and responsibilities of this SQE position are as follows.Drive proactive quality, delivery, and productivity improvement with Schneider Electric’s supplybaseAccelerate change with cross-functional stakeholdersConduct quality system evaluations of new and existing suppliersConduct material process and quality plan audits of existing suppliers as neededCoach/Train the supply base on Schneider Electric’s expectations, systems, and performanceobjectivesRespond and drive rapid resolution to emergency quality and delivery issuesDay to day Supplier Quality Management in SE manufacturing facilityQualificationsQualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial). A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or design environments. Proficiency in manufacturing processes, ISO-9000, and quality core tools such as Control Plan, PFMEA, GD&T, and Problem Solving methodologies (8D). Experience performing TS/ISO audits internally or with suppliers. You must be a problem solver, capable of working independently while thriving in a team environment. Fluency in English is required. Preferred certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, with knowledge of injection molding, thermoset technology, metal stamping, sheet metal, or finishing processes such as plating, painting, and welding. Experience in project management would be advantageous.
