We are looking for a data-driven Technical SEO Specialist to join the Worldwide SEO COE (Center of Excellence) team to support HP.com search engine optimization efforts. The Technical SEO Specialist will work closely with the Group Manager, Team Leads, Project Managers, Strategists, and other Technical Specialists to enable SEO best practices within HP.com web platforms via major and minor enhancements as part of Product development and agile Sprint cycles. In addition, this role will support website auditing and optimization path to maximize crawling and indexing of HP.com web pages by search engines.Expected ResponsibilitiesValidate SEO project requirements align to global standard operating procedures pre- and post-deliveryWork with dedicated Project Managers and Strategists to deliver web platform enhancements via cross-functional supportRoutinely audit and compile website issues detrimental to SEO; size business case and prioritize to fixBe a creative but flexible thinker with high technical acumen and the ability to garner cross-functional support in pursuit of holistic business solutions with evergreen valueRequired to make data-driven decisions in an often fast-paced, fluctuating business environmentTake part in solving challenging SEO problems related to direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerceEducation And Experience SoughtBachelor’s degree in Business Admin., Communications, Computer Science, Marketing, or related fields5 years minimum SEO experience in large enterprise environment with multiple business stakeholdersProven track record of project management resulting in SEO product enhancements to support growthDeep understanding of enterprise analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics 360 e.g., user behavior and website engagement metrics, dimensions, segments, ecommerce and event trackingAdvanced expertise and knowledge of online space, including search engine trends and technologiesAdvanced understanding of Google search engine optimization best practices and webmaster policiesHighly knowledgeable about web languages like DOM, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and able to easily parse HTML elements within web page source codeFamiliarity with enterprise SEO platforms like Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Conductor Searchlight, Searchmetrics, SEMrush, or seoClarity is a mustFamiliarity with content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Adobe Magento is a mustComfortable using productivity and collaboration applications to manage projects and tasks like Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Trello, Confluence, Jira, Asana, SmartsheetOther Knowledge And Skills SoughtCan-do, positive attitude and willingness to work in fast-paced team environmentHighly detail-oriented with proven project management and organizational skillsAbility to link roadmap projects and website enhancements to business resultsCreativity and curiosity around project planning and process improvementStrong analytical, problem identification and solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbout HPYou’re out to reimagine and reinvent what’s possible—in your career as well as the world around you.So are we.
